Internal Quality Audit

Internal Quality audits are typically performed at predefined time intervals as per the Audit plan and ensure that the institution has clearly defined internal system monitoring procedures linked to effective action. The audits are unbiased and require cross-functionality of departments.

Audits are an essential management tool used for inspecting the objective evidence of processes, to assess how successfully processes have been implemented, for judging the effectiveness of achieving any defined target levels, to provide evidence concerning reduction and elimination of problem areas. Quality auditing should not only report non-conformances and corrective actions, but also highlight strong points within a department for the management and team to understand what is being implemented correctly and should be continued and adapted in other departments where applicable and maintain continual improvement.
